Plastic Injection Supervisor - Off Shift

Responsible for leading, training and coordinating all efforts for the Molding Department to ensure full efficiencies of both production and personnel are met.
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
• Hands-on supervisor position that involves doing set up and processing for off shift production
• Ensure safety processes and procedures are followed at all times
• Monitor and improve press utilization and productivity
• Ensure the effective use of all personnel
• Monitor and work to reduce scrap levels
• Train production colleagues and support staff
• Work on cycle time improvement programs
• Ensure effective use of raw materials (including regrind)
• Make shop cleanliness a top priority • Work with Maintenance to ensure all production equipment is in good repair
• Ensure all ISO procedures are being followed and that all work instructions are being used and kept current
• Ensure all labor and production data is reported and entered correctly into computer
• Follow schedule and job priorities
• Troubleshoot and advise on processing molds and setups
• Start up and shut down presses and equipment
• MUST HAVE plastics injection molding experience to apply.
