Overview of the RoleOur entertainment media client is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Core Experience Design team, focused on post-login experiences through playback for a major streaming platform. This role is ideal for a seasoned designer who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about crafting elegant, user-centered digital experiences. You'll be involved in every stage of the design process-from early ideation to final delivery-collaborating with designers, engineers, researchers, and product managers to shape cohesive, impactful solutions across platforms.The BasicsDuration: Approximately 6 monthsHours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)Location: Hybrid; New York City preferred, Los Angeles or Seattle secondary locationsOnsite Expectations: 3 days in-person per week (flexible)Top 3 Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Product Design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design across platforms.Expert proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and design systems usage.Proven experience shipping design work, not just creating mockups-demonstrated ability to see features through to delivery.Other QualificationsBA/BS in UX/Product/Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experienceExperience designing for mobile, web, and connected TV platformsStrong understanding of design systems, typography, color theory, and compositionAbility to synthesize user data and feedback into actionable design solutionsExperience with Agile Development and Lean UX methodologiesMotion design experience is a plusAgency experience with TV/streaming clients is advantageousPassion for entertainment, media, and emerging digital trendsKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver design artifacts across all phases: task flows, wireframes, prototypes, specs, and documentationTranslate ambiguous requirements into clear, user-centered design solutionsCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designersExpand and evolve design systems and templates while maintaining consistencyPresent concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectivelyOwn end-to-end feature design, including planning, research, execution, and deliverySynthesize customer feedback, research, and data to ensure designs meet user needsContribute to a positive, inclusive team culture focused on innovation and excellenceIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
